What we collect
We collect only what you type into our enquiry form: your name, company, email address, phone number, country, the product you are interested in, quantity, destination port and your message. We also record the date and time of the submission and the IP address it came from, which we use to prevent automated abuse of the form.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details, bank credentials or identity documents through this website.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and — if we go on to do business — to administer that relationship. We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone outside our own sourcing, quality and logistics team except where it is necessary to fulfil your order (for example, giving a shipping line the consignee details you have asked us to use).
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained while the commercial conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up where we left off. If you would like your enquiry deleted, email us and we will remove it.
Cookies
This website sets one strictly necessary session cookie, which keeps your form submission secure and expires when you close your browser. If the site owner has enabled third-party analytics, those services may set their own cookies; you can block them in your browser settings.
Security
Enquiry data is held on our hosting account and reachable only through a password-protected administration panel. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, but the site is served over HTTPS and access to the panel is restricted.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@velfineoverseas.com and we will respond. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights (such as the UK or EU), those rights apply and we will honour them.
